Weil ich ihn durchschaut habe. Bayreuth: nicht Kunsttempel, sondern Ventil für deutsche Sehnsucht nach Größe ohne Mühe. Ich schreibe diese Zeilen bei Tageslicht, Fenster offen, die Zigarre lässt sich nicht anzünden – zu windig. Das ist passend. Der Wind dreht. Meine Schwester fragt gestern, ob ich den Text zurückhalte. Ich lache. Zurückhalten? Das ist wie Atem anhalten, bis man stirbt. Klarheit ist unbequem, aber Lüge ist lähmend.
